Born Troy Patton Smith on June 28th, in the city of Cincinnati, Ohio, to the Soul/Funk legend Kenneth Patton Smith and his hardworking mother, Evalena Smith. 

At an early age, he found his inspiration for music while watching his father play the guitar. His father, known for his success as a Soul/Funk singer, musician, songwriter, and producer, later became inducted in the Cincinnatti Entertainment Awards Music Hall of Fame in 2006. Furthermore, his experiences in visiting several areas of the world sparked his appreciation for different genres of music. 

Troy has ten years of experience in producing (hip-hop, r&b, trip-hop) and songwriting.  He is the Chief Executive Officer of Lion Roar Productions LLC. His hip hop  instrumental production and arranging style has landed in YouTube TV advertisements and used in other projects.

He welcomes projects in collaboration with talented upcoming artists and established music licensing companies to bring visions to life.
